Bedrooms!

On Friday, we arrived at La Nancy. The first thig was to choose beds and there was some fighting for them! I don't want to say this because I'm a girl, but in the girls' bedroom there was a lot of rubbish on the floor, more than in the other rooms! At night some of us wanted to have a shower but we had a big problem. After the four first girls finished theirs, the water wasn't enough and it also was very cold!

All the time in the bedrooms the children sang songs and talked about different things and enjoyed themselves.

On Saturday afternoon the girls stayed in their bedroom and tried to sing, but they only managed to shout the songs! Bye Bye for now!

Teachers' message to their students

All the teachers at “La Nancy” during the “Hollywood” programme would like to congratulate their students for their performances. They were all superb!We are sure some of them will become international superstars very soon. to be fantastic at dressing up for big occasions. They all looked terrific in their evening clothes!!! We deeply hope they have enjoyed their short ‘trip to Hollywood’!
















THREE DAYS FULL OF ACTIVITIES by Daiana Coñueguir

During the time in “La Nancy” the teenagers have carried out lots of activities: games, an important piece of writing so that they could get a job and an acting production. Every activity was helped by the assistants.
As they arrived on friday, the first activities in the morning were games. They could start meeting together, because (for example) in some of the games they had to make groups, or in another,they had to introduce theirself doing an activity which was very funny.
They had an important activity later: they had to apply for a job by a letter of application, saying why they were suitable for the different possitions. After that they had an interview, where they had to explain what they had wrote. And on sunday, they took their possitions.
The film production was the most exciting activity, which required lots of efford and preparation. The result of the work was very succesful and funny. They saw their films in the oscar ceremony, where everybody won an oscar.



Interview with Mr. Elias


THE MOST AWAITED MOMENT ARRIVED... by Daiana Coñueguir

The ceremony of the oscar awards was on saturday night. After they watched their films, they were awarded an oscar for their roles.
The girls were beautiful and the boys were very handsome.

We had an interview with Elias, a famous character:

Reporter: What is your opinion about the ceremony?
Elias: It was very funny.
Reporter: What did you receive the award for?
Elias: because i had a football jersey t-shirt.
Reporter: You were in Addams family, weren´t you?
Elias: Yes, we worked all day to do it.
Reporter: thank you and congratulations!

In the free time the guys always talked and met each other to have an interesting conversation.The games and the activities were the same as what they did in the bedrooms.Every night some of the group went outside and had parties for dancing, singning and having fun.One night some children tried to have a party in the basement but they couldn’t because they weren’t allowed to make noise.A few people tried to sleep during the breaks and the rest talked to the counsellors to learn new words.After the lunch the boys usually played football outside and some girls listened to music.
